Terms & Conditions

1. About these terms
This website is published for St. Mary’s Boat, a motor boat cruise operator in Punnamada, Alappuzha, Kerala, India. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please contact the operator by phone instead of using the website.
2. Enquiries only — no booking is created
Everything you can do on this website is an enquiry. Filling in the enquiry form does not create a booking, does not reserve the boat and does not create a contract. A cruise is confirmed only when the operator has replied to you directly and confirmed the date, the route, the duration, the fare and the boarding point.
No booking reference is issued by this website. Any reference number you receive must come from the operator.
3. Availability and pricing
Availability, cruise routes, durations and fares are set by the operator and confirmed for each enquiry. No prices, packages, departure times or passenger capacity are published on this website. Any figure you see anywhere other than in a direct message from the operator should be treated as unconfirmed.
4. Payment
This website does not take payments. There is no payment gateway, no card form and no online checkout. Payment arrangements are agreed directly with the operator. Never send money to an account you have not confirmed with the operator using the phone number published on this site.
5. Cancellations, refunds and changes
Cancellation, refund, rescheduling and weather policies are not published here because the operator has not confirmed a fixed policy for this website. Before you make any payment, ask the operator to confirm in writing the conditions that apply to your specific cruise, including what happens if the trip is cancelled or the weather turns.
6. Boarding and punctuality
Boarding takes place in the Punnamada area of Alappuzha. The exact boarding point and reporting time are confirmed with you before your cruise. Please confirm the location before you set out and arrive in good time. The boat cannot wait indefinitely at the jetty, and delays caused by late arrival may shorten the cruise.
7. Safety and passenger conduct
Passengers must follow the operator’s and crew’s instructions at all times, remain seated where asked, and keep hold of personal belongings. Whether a particular group or passenger can be carried is decided by the operator, who is responsible for the safe operation of the boat.
8. Weather and water conditions
Backwater cruising depends on weather, water levels and local conditions. The operator may change, shorten or cancel a cruise where they consider it necessary for safety. Any consequence of such a change is a matter between you and the operator.
9. Website content and images
We try to keep this website accurate. Photographs on this site show St. Mary’s Boat herself and are not a guarantee of what you will see on a cruise: scenery, wildlife and canal traffic depend on the route, season and conditions on the day. Cruise durations, routes and fares shown anywhere other than in a direct message from the operator are not confirmed.
10. Third-party links
This website links to Google Maps and to BoatingBooking.in, an independent houseboat platform. Those sites are not controlled by St. Mary’s Boat and we are not responsible for their content, availability or booking terms. A link is not a partnership or endorsement.
11. Intellectual property
The text, layout and branding of this website belong to St. Mary’s Boat. Please do not reproduce substantial parts of it without permission.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from the use of this website is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kerala.
